The Illusionists hardback was launched using Twitter to merchandise a YouTube video highlighting the author reading a paragraph from the book to set the scene for the book’s story of magic, love and death in a Victorian London theatre
The video was shot at Wilton’s Theatre in east London, which looks much as it did 150 years ago. Director and production company was Luke Powell – www.lukepowellfilms.com.
